Where do you start when you create a blog?

My name is Stephanie and I have been a blog stalker for many years just lurking in the background and not participating more than asking an odd question here or there.  But after much debate for the past few months, I thought I would dip my toe in the blogging pool and share my ideas with you out there.  

I have been a crafter for most of my 36 years and have recently become fixated on do it yourself home décor and improvements. I moved to a ‘new’ home approximately one year ago and have worked hard to update it on a very tight budget. I am not embarrassed to say I love thrift stores and I have been known to take furniture out of other people’s garbage.  Although, I do make my husband load it in the back of the van.

I am happily married to a wonderful man for the past eight years and have two absolutely beautiful children.  I am a full-time mom and part-time project manager. I love both of my jobs, being a mom and working part-time, but have always believed “I work to live and don’t live to work.”  

My husband has always said “I am full of it” but I have started to correct him and I would like to believe he is starting to agree that “I am Full of Great Ideas.”  

I hope to share with you fun, easy, inexpensive and unique home décor and craft ideas.  Please let me know what you think .
